We live in a country that values freedom. In fact, built into our founding documents and many important legal decisions are the rights to religious freedom and sexual freedom, two issues with a long history of conflict. In our recent history, the establishment of the Religious Freedom Restoration Action has resulted in considerable tension over which rights override the others.
